ENFIELD, CT/SWANTON/HIGHGATE- It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Allan James Brow. Allan Passed away March 21, 2023, at the UVM Medical Center in Burlington, VT with his family by his side. Allan was 86.

He was born in Swanton, VT on April 15, 1936 to the late Raymond A. and Evelyn (Dixon) (Brow) Letourneau.

Allan graduated from St. Anne's Academy in 1957, then joined the United States Army. After an Honorable Discharge he made his home in Enfield, CT where he went to work for Pratt & Whitney and was know as "Mr. Wonderful".

On his 55th birthday, after more than 30 years with Pratt & Whitney he retired, proudly building a home in Highgate, VT where he had his little farm of chickens and ducks, along with a very large garden. Over the years he had many very special fur babies; FRED, Jay, Sherman, Abbey, Bailey, Lucy, Leo, and Blackie. He was an avid Red Sox fan and a big fan of Tom Brady. Allan also enjoyed sitting in his sunroom watching the sun rise and set, seeing the deer in his field, the purple martins, and feeding the hummingbirds.

On April 12th, 1985 he married Vivian (Smith) who survives him. Allan is also survived by his children, Kellie (Brow) Uzell and her fiancé David Desorcie of Highgate, and Michelle (Brow) Ellis and her husband Brian of Enfield, CT.

Grandchildren, Christopher Uzell of Highgate, Steven Ellis and his wife Megan, and Jaclyn Ellis all of Enfield, CT. Great grandson, Owen expected in July.

Vivian's children, Marilyn (Gerlach) Dunbar and her husband Scott of West Chazy, NY, Hazel Gerlach of PA, and Barbara Scarlette of Cocoa, FL.

Grandchildren, Daniel-Colby Nadeau, Allana Gerlach and her companion Anthony, Cecilla, Latoyia, Latashia, Fredericka, Ciera, and Kariem.

Great grandchildren, Emmit, Shabi, Shanaya, Shamar, Amia, Kelis, and one coming soon.

He also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a godson, Jason LaBrecque, along with good friend Bill Daniels.

Allan was predeceased by his stepfather Henry "Pupa" Letourneau , and his sister, Raymona "Sis" Campbell.

At Allan's request there will be no calling hours.
