ST. ALBANS– Ann M. Roberts, age 63, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 with her dedicated family by her side at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.

Annie grew up in Burlington, graduated from CVU in 1976, and attended Champlain College and the California Institute of Technology where she earned a degree in mechanical engineering. She had a brilliant mechanical, artistic mind and an unmatched ability to take almost anything and redesign it to be more effective. She was a gifted stain glass curator, woodworker, and proficient in calligraphy.
Annie never let her physical struggles keep her down. She was resilient, tenacious, and had a remarkable sense of humor. She had a flair for teaching her children and grandchildren life lessons that will be passed on for generations along with her favorite quote, “Pay attention, it’s the only thing that’s free”. Affectionately known as “Nana” she cherished her grandchildren and looked forward to spending time with them.
