Arlene Drown

ENOSBURG FALLS - P. Arlene Drown, age 81, passed away Saturday morning, May 3, 2008 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.

She was born November 3, 1926 in Franklin the daughter of the late Lewis & Rosanna (Degonyoun) Mitiguy

Arlene was a resident of Enosburg Falls most of her life and was a member of the Enosburg Falls United Methodist Church. She was a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #42 of Enosburg Falls. She was employed at the Enosburg Lockers for 23 years retiring in 1996.

She is survived by her son, Kermit D. Drown and his wife Susan of Highgate; 2 granddaughters, Heather Drown of Highgate and her special friend Nathan Grant of Sheldon , and Stephanie (Drown) Menard and her husband Timothy of Swanton; a step-son and his wife, Rodney & Patricia Drown of Pittsford; 2 step grandchildren, Susie Trout and Debbie Drown both of Maine. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Carlos D. Drown in 1968; a sister, Mildred Miller; and 2 brothers, Arthur & Philip Clough.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 6, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Enosburg Falls United Methodist Church with Pastor Charlie Magill officiating. Interment will follow in the Missisquoi Cemetery in Enosburg Falls.

Visiting hours will be held Monday evening from 6-9 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls.
