RICHFORD - Beatrice B. Demar, age 88, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013 at St. Albans Health & Rehab.
She was born April 9, 1925 in Richford the daughter of the late Fred & Mary Ida (Colton) Demar.
Bea was a lifelong resident of Richford. She was a graduate of Richford High School class of 1945 and a member of the Richford United Methodist Church. She worked at Northland Hockey Stick Factory for 11 years, Martels Store for 20 years and then Blouins IGA for 5 years. In her later years Bea attended classes at Vermont Community College.
Bea is survived by many nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, Bea was predeceased by her brother, Hector Demar; and her sisters, Effie Jacobs, Ruth Dickinson & Winifred Lucia.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Hillside Cemetery, Golf Course Road, Richford with Pastor Patrick Hoadley officiating.
