Betty Jackson

RICHFORD - Betty Ann Jackson, age 95, passed away on Saturday, January 10th, 2026 at the McClure Miller Respite House in Colchester, VT.

Betty was born on May 23, 1930 in Sutton, Quebec to John and Gladys (Brown) Payne.

Betty was a resident of Richford for most of her life. She loved skiing, golfing, painting, and knitting. Betty was employed by Jay Peak Ski area in the sport shop and later as a bookkeeper for Blouin Bros in Enosburg Falls.

Betty is survived by her son, Gregory Jackson and his wife Carolyn; grandsons, Neil Jackson and his wife Federica, Doug Jackson and Hannah Haselton, and Brendan Jackson and his wife Sabrina; great-granddaughters, Bella Jackson and Haley Jackson; great grandsons, Jay Jackson and Kieran Jackson. Besides her parents Betty was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Keith; sister, Catherine "Jean" Payne and brother, Albert Payne.

The family sincerely wishes to thank the staff at Our Lady of the Meadows where she resided for 5 years; the Doctors and Nurses at the University of Vermont Medical Center; and a special thanks to the staff at the McClure Miller Respite House.
