Beverly "Susie" Adams

RICHFORD – Beverly “Susie” Adams, age 76, passed away on June 1st, 2025, at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.

She was born in Henderson, Kentucky on July 26th, 1948. She was one of two living children of the late Carlos and Ruby (Van Hoosier) Cannon.

Beverly’s journey was one filled with creativity, love, and dedication. A true “Jill of all trades,” she was not only a talented cook but also had a passion for quilt making, painting, and flower arranging where her beautiful arrangements brought joy to countless customers. Beverly also shared her gifts in various roles throughout her life, including a head start teacher and sales associate for Mary Kay. She worked diligently at a molding injection facility in Kentucky, IBM, and Energizer, but her proudest achievement was the love and devotion she poured into being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Beverly is survived by her children, Jeremy Adams and his partner Lisa Holappa, Travis Adams and his wife Amy, Jerod Adams and his wife Trish, and Rebekah Adams and her significant other, Don Patnaude II; grandchildren, Bridgette, Kristina, Gracey, Emily, Owen, Brady and Wyatt; great grandchildren, Kian, Jackson and another great granddaughter on the way; brother, Bobby Cannon; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Beverly was predeceased by her son, Joshua Adams; the father of her children, Carroll “Jed” Adams; siblings, Max Cannon, Norman “Buddy” Cannon, Bill Cannon, Judy Adams, Rosemary Brack, Gladys “Polly” Droll and June Spencer.

In keeping with Susie’s wishes, a private memorial service will be held for her family. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of her life on Tuesday, June 10th, 2025, from 2-5:00 PM at the American Legion, Post #42, Depot Street, Enosburg Falls, VT.
