Brenda Jeanne Lauzon, 67, entered into eternal rest at home in Williamstown, VT on March 4, 2024 after a long illness.
Born at home in Swanton, VT on July 3, 1956, Brenda was the daughter of the late Paul and Marion (Paquette) Lauzon. She is survived by two sisters Theresa Fedorchek of Fairfield, CT and Anne Retzlaff (John) of Covington, WA; two brothers Michael Lauzon of Bridgeport, CT and George Lauzon (Lynn) of N. Springfield, VT; two nieces Heather Westad (Brian) of Black Diamond, WA and their daughter, and Rebecca Le (Khang) of Kansas City, MO and their three children; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Brenda was predeceased by her sister, Paula Greenwood and her husband William; her sister-in-law, Theresa Brooke Lauzon; and brother-in-law, Robert Fedorchek.
Brenda had a way of making everyone smile. She was happiest when with family and friends, spending time outside on her porch swing or sitting in her chair wrapped in her favorite blanket listening to music.
Brenda had very special people in her life. Holly Tremblay cared for Brenda in her home for 12 years and remained a good friend. Wanda Carroll and her family took Brenda into their home for the last eight years and were by her side caring for her until the end. Brenda's family would like to thank Holly and Wanda for the invaluable, loving care they provided Brenda. A special thank you to Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice, especially Bonnie and Donna.
Brenda's life will be celebrated with a Mass of Christian Burial on April 5, 2024 at 11:00 am at The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 65 Canada Street, Swanton, VT. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Lauzon family plot in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery.
