Calvin A. Parizo Sr.

ST. ALBANS – Calvin A. Parizo Sr., age 81, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.

He was born in Highgate Springs on October 30, 1938 to the late Leslie & Florence (Lloyd) Parizo.

Calvin was very proud of his service to our country through the U.S. Navy. He served during the Lebanese Crisis and the Cuban Missile Crisis. His time in the Navy took him all over the world including Japan, Morocco, and Beirut to name a few.  Calvin’s favorite hobbies included watching boxing, betting on horses, and traveling. He had a special bond with his son Micah, who will remember Calvin as a fighter, a hero, and his best friend.

He is survived by his son, Micah Parizo of St. Albans and his sister, Gloria Wisell of Johnson. Besides his parents, Calvin was predeceased by his wives, Eva Mae Parizo and Sharon Parizo; and his son, Calvin A. Parizo Jr.

There will be no public services for Calvin.
