Camille Raiche

SHELDON - Camille Louise Marie Raiche, age 43, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at her home in Sheldon. "Cammie the Lambie" was a special young lady who was much loved by her family and friends.

Cammie was born on September 16, 1982, in the Rangeley Lakes Region of northern Maine. She had a very difficult start to her life and was not expected to live, but she became part of a loving Vermont family that has enjoyed watching her grow through the years.

Cammie greatly enjoyed going to church and listening to music, especially if that music vibrated the floor. She loved her aquarium of pet fish and her colorful turtle. Cammie was a fun-loving mischievous person and had a smile that could light up a room. Her prince charming was her oldest brother, Lee.

She is survived by her mother, Katharine Raiche; her siblings Louis Leon Raiche III (Lee) and his wife Mary, her brother-in-law Charles Thompson, Jeannie Raiche Viens and her husband Andre, Sarah Raiche Cook and Harold, Nahtanha Raiche Pattullo and her husband Daniel, Joseph Raiche, Elizabeth Raiche Jackson and her husband Lee, Stephen Swallick and Christopher Raiche; and numerous nieces and nephews. Cammie also had close foster siblings: Brian and Darren Murray, Shaun Fiske, and Tamara Hall. She was pre-deceased by her paternal grandparents, Louis Sr. and Edith Raiche; her maternal grandparents, David and Christine Eaton; and her siblings, Virginia Raiche Thompson and Benjamin Raiche.

Friends and family are invited to Cammie's Celebration of Life Memorial Service to be held at Hill West Cemetery on West Hill Road in Montgomery from 2:00-4:30 pm on Friday, July 17, 2026.
