Carl Joseph Curtis III

 SWANTON - Carl Curtis III, age 60, passed away on Wednesday, April 8th, 2026 at his home in Swanton.

He was born on July 5, 1965 in St. Albans to Carl Curtis Sr. and Shirley Stearns.

Carl attended and graduated from Missisquoi Valley Union Highschool. He loved his John Wayne Movies and always liked to work. He worked for Farrell Distributing for his whole life. He enjoyed listening to country music any chance he got. 

He is survived by his sister, Laurie Phanuf and her husband Stephen; nephews Adam and Robert Phanuf; aunts and uncles, Shirley and Allen, and Gary and Shirley Curtis. He is predeceased by his parents, Carl and Shirley Curtis.

Friends and family are invited to a graveside service for Carl on Friday, May 29th, 2026 at 11:00AM at St. Mary's Cemetery, 65 Canada Street, Swanton, VT 05488.
