Carol Abbie Richardson

May 19, 1957 — November 6, 2019

ALBURGH - Carol A. Richardson, age 62, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 with her loving dog by her side.

She was born in Montpelier on May 19, 1957 to Phyllis (Greene) Kerr and the late Wayne L. Richardson.

Carol was the oldest of eight children. She moved around a lot during her lifetime but found a true home for the past 7 years with Tammy and Ross Poquette and their two sons, Kurt and Colton. Carol never let her disabilities get in her way, she was determined and taught so many people so many valuable life lessons. Carol absolutely loved animals, especially her Shih Tzu, Heidi, raising chickens, cart rides with horses, and found herself volunteering at local animal shelters. She loved shopping, playing Bingo, mountain climbing in her Jeep, bowling, cooking with Tammy, card games, watching the tv show M*A*S*H, sitting in the sun, drinking coffee and the color RED! Carol was a gifted Artist and had art shows where she sold her artwork. Carol will be missed by many as she deeply touched the lives of everyone around her.

She is survived by her mother, Phyllis Kerr; siblings, Gale Ouellette, Barbara Pomelow and her husband Douglas, Nathan Richardson and his significant other Pam Vaillancourt, April Hertlein and her husband George, Michael Richardson and his significant other Ann Collins, Randy Richardson and his significant other Elizabeth Berget, Patrick Richardson and his wife Lana; a special aunt Marilyn Gilman; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends. Besides her father, Carol was predeceased by her half-sister Susan Audet; and her grandparents.
