Christopher Carr

MONTGOMERY CENTER - Christopher John Carr of Montgomery Center, Vermont, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2026, at University Medical Center in Burlington. He was 44 years old.

Chris was born on November 13, 1981, in Wakefield, Rhode Island, to the late Dennis Carr and Marsha Young Phillips. He spent most of his life in and around Montgomery, where he worked as a carpenter. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, kindness, and love of animals.

Chris is survived by his mother, Marsha Phillips; his daughter, Aunestie Carr; his sister, Kimberly Bryant; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Dennis Carr, and his stepfather, Gary Phillips.
