ST. ALBANS - Damian M. Baker, age 46, passed away from an unexpected medical event on August 11th, 2025, at his residence in St. Albans.
He was born on August 18th, 1978, in Burlington, VT to Steven and Charyl (Brown) Greenia.
Damian embraced the beauty of nature. His passion for life was evident in everything he did. Damian loved fishing. He also found joy in carpentry, often creating beautiful pieces for friends and family. His skills extended to target shooting, where he cherished the thrill of the aim with his father-in-law, Charlie. Damian was also deeply devoted to his mother, Charyl and his sister, Carrie, whose hearts he filled with joy and laughter. Damian found solace in the melodies of his guitar, filling his home and the hearts of his loved ones with music and laughter. A true artist at heart, he embraced life with enthusiasm, sharing his gift of music with friends and family.
Damian met the love of his life, Heather (Graff) Baker in 2006. They began their married life together on August 26th, 2017. An afternoon wasn't complete without his wife, Heather Baker, by his side. Their gardening adventures bloomed from Heather's gentle nudge, leading them to cultivate a vibrant life together, nurturing both plants and their love. They shared laughter while playing corn hole, reveled in birdwatching, and explored the great outdoors, reminding us all that life is best lived under the open sky. Damian and Heather also enjoyed hiking together. With every hiking trail shared with Heather-each adventure marked by new discoveries and unforgettable memories.
Damian was the shop Supervisor at The Yankee Corporation, where he worked for 18 years. He made many lasting friendships there, and gave his all every day to be the best supervisor and employee possible.
Damian is survived by his wife, Heather Baker; children, Alaysha Graff and her fiancé Alex Stevens, Konrad Graff and his fiancée, Elizabeth Hetzel and LeAnn Graff and her significant other, William Heath; Mother, Charyl Brown, Father, Steven Greenia, and sister, Carrie Brown; mother-in-law, Leona Eade; sisters-in-laws, Lynn Broderick and her fiancé, Todd Baker, Debbie Medor and her husband Brian, Melissa Lamothe and her husband Jamie and Jessica Provost and her husband Keith.
Friends and family are invited to Damian's life celebration to include visitation from 5-6:30 PM on Thursday, August 21st, 2025, at the Goss Life Celebration Home, 89 Grand Avenue, Swanton, VT. A memorial service will follow at 6:30 PM.
