ENOSBURG -Daniel M. Panko, age 21, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at his home in Enosburgh.

He was born in St. Albans on August 4, 1998, the son of Steven Panko and Marguerite Panko.

Daniel grew up in Enosburg Falls and graduated from Enosburg High School in 2016. He was a great mechanic and welder, he loved fixing things, working on his motorcycle, and building cars; he could build anything he set his mind to. Daniel worked at Kent Nutrition, the Railroad in St. Albans, and most recently Notch Road Auto Repair. His time was usually spent playing with his nieces, nephews, and siblings all of whom he had a special relationship with. Daniel was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time in nature hiking, fishing, hunting, having bonfires and going on adventures. Above all, Daniel will be remembered most for his compassionate and giving heart, he was always willing to help others.

He is survived by his father, Steven Panko of Enosburgh; his mother, Marguerite Panko and her significant other Timothy Hayes of Enosburgh; siblings, Christopher Panko and his wife Kayla of Georgia, Alicia Panko of Bakersfield, Sarah Panko, Joseph Panko, David Hayes, Jesse Hayes, Nicholas Hayes, and James Hayes all of Enosburgh; paternal grandparents, Ronald and Dorothy Liz Panko of Enosburgh; significant other, Caitlyn Callan of Fairfield; nieces & nephews, Dagan, Sullivan, Vanessa, Marissa; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many very special friends and coworkers. Daniel was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Louis & Evelyn Hans.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 from 4-7:00 PM at Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Spears Funeral Home. Interment will be held this spring in the Enosburg Center Cemetery.
