Darrell Spears

ENOSBURG FALLS - Darrell Spears, age 78, passed away on May 10, 2026 at St. Albans Health and Rehab.
He was born on January 27th, 1948 in East Highgate to Clyde and Iris (Toof) Spears.
Darrell attended school in Highgate and graduated from Highgate High School in 1967. Darrell Spent his life farming and enjoyed watching old westerns.
Darrell leaves behind his brother and sister-in-law, Laurel and Rita Spears; sister, Donna Spears; nephews, Kevin Spears (Yvonne), Brian Spears (Brenda), Glen Spears (Dale), Shawn Spears (Debbie), and niece Joann McWillaims (Kevin). He was predeceased by his parents, Clyde and Iris Spears.
In keeping with Darrell's wishes, he will be laid to rest in a private ceremony in East Highgate Cemetery.
