David Gover

ST. ALBANS - David Gover Sr., age 72, passed away on Monday, April 29th, 2024 at his home in St. Albans.

David was born on July 29th, 1951 to Phillip and Viola (Bosley) Gover.

David attended many schools around Franklin County. He worked for many years on different farms being a farmhand. He had a love for model cars, playing darts, billiard pool, and most recently bingo. David was always very happy, and he inherited the nickname "Happy" from family and friends. David's last job was a night porter for Burger King, he loved his job. He also enjoyed riding around in his "hot rod" wheelchair.

David is survived by his children, David Gover Jr, Phillip Gover and his girlfriend Michelle Deuso, and Tia Moore; siblings, Diane Sartwell and her husband Dennis, and Douglas Gover and Sheri; and many grandchildren.

David was predeceased by his parents, Phillip Gover and Viola Bosley.
