Dennis Loiselle

SHELDON - Dennis J. Loiselle, age 80, died Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at his home following a brief illness.

He was born May 27, 1943 in Sheldon, the son of the late Adrien & Emelda (Rainville) Loiselle.

Dennis was a resident of Sheldon all his life and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Starting as an early teenager, Dennis began his long career in agriculture. He worked for several farms in the area over the years. Dennis enjoyed building wishing wells and selling rhubarb.

He is survived by his two brothers, John Loiselle of Sheldon, and Paul Loiselle of Mystic, CT; a close nephew and niece, Jeremy and Kallie Loiselle of Mystic, CT and several nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by three brothers, Bertrand Loiselle (1964), Antonio Loiselle (2004), and Leo Loiselle (2018); and three sisters, Martha Page (1962), Marcheline Cooper (2001), and Pierrette Wimble (2022).

Dennis' family will be holding a graveside committal service for him at a later date in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery in Sheldon Springs.
