Dolores Richard

RICHFORD - Dolores L. Richard, age 64, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.

She was born July 21, 1961 in Great Barrington, MA to the late William & Lillian (Small) Larose. 

Dolores dedicated her life to her family, a value that was beautifully evident in the warm, loving environment she created within her home. Her passion for gathering family memories was reflected in the countless photographs on her walls. 

Dolores found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an enthusiastic collector of all things mushrooms, gathering unique items such as lamps and decorative baskets that filled her home with character. She enjoyed playing bingo and cribbage, as well as the daily episodes of Days of Our Lives that she cherished. She was a passionate football fan and a dedicated supporter of her San Francisco 49ers. 

Dolores is survived by her husband, Rich Richard; her daughter, Jessica Ignatowich; granddaughters, Kate, and Isabelle Ignatowich; a special niece, Mary Smith and her family; and siblings, Donald, Ernest, Gloria, Beverly, Pam, and Janice; and many nieces & nephews. Dolores was predeceased by her son, James Gillette; son-in-law, David Ignatowich; parents, William & Lillian Larose; and siblings, Mary, William Jr., Arthleen, and Donna. 

In keeping with Dolores' wishes, there will be no public services for her at this time.
