Edmund Earl Gabree Sr.

ALBURGH - Edmund Gabree Sr., age 71, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 19th, 2026 at his home.

He was born on May 2, 1955 in St. Albans.

Edmund was a beloved husband, father, and friend whose larger-than-life spirit touched the hearts of those around him. He was known for his keen skills as an auto technician, where he applied his talent for fixing anything with unwavering determination. A true jack of all trades, he dedicated his life to hard work and was often found with a wrench or hammer in hand or telling a joke to lighten the mood. His stubbornness could sometimes be matched only by his great sense of humor-he had a knack for making those around him smile, often reminding us all that "It's always something." He enjoyed many activities, most notably his daily ritual of watching WWE wrestling and playing billiards pool, where he could often be found surrounded by friends

He is survived by his wife Andrea Gabree; children, Edmund Gabree Jr. and significant other, Jamie Sweetser, Jesse Gabree, Chelsea Gabree; grandchildren, Tianna Gabree, Ryan Gabree, Edmund Gabree III, Nova Gabree, Casey Gabree, Felicia Tourville, Mikayla Gabree, Rebecca Gabree, Jaelynn, Madilyn; brothers, Dennis Gabree Sr. and Donald Gabree Jr. and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Leila (Laplante) Gabree, sister, Elizabeth Boudreau.

A celebration of life will be held privately at the family's convenience.
