Eileen Champagne

ST. ALBANS - On December 24th, 2023, our mother Eileen Rae St. Francis (Champagne), passed away into God's graces at the age of 61, in her home in St. Albans, Vermont. Her presence is sorely missed, and her loss deeply felt.

Born on September 5th, 1962, to loving parents Donald and Nellie St. Francis, Eileen immediately filled the lives of those around her with joy. Eileen graduated from Windsor High School in 1980. After graduating Eileen became a homemaker.

Eileen, while an active member of the St. Francis of Assisi church in Windsor, Vermont, taught catechism. She enjoyed doing ceramics, scrapbooking and passionately writing poetry. One of her poems, "Looking Back on All the Memories," won a song writing contest and was recorded.

She is survived by her three sisters Linda Menard and husband Bruce of Ormand Beach, FL, Sandra Cline of St. Albans, VT, Lynda (Patty) Morgan of Largo, FL, one brother Donald St. Francis and wife Kelly of Highgate, VT, two sons Eugene Driscoll III and wife Jennifer of Lebanon, NH, Gavin Driscoll and wife Melanie of Windsor, VT, one daughter, Sarah Driscoll of White River Junction, VT; two grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents and brother Allen St. Francis.

Family and friends are invited to her life celebration that will be held this Spring; more details will be announced.
