SWANTON - Ellen M. Fredette, age 59, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at her home in Swanton.
She was born in Middlebury on November 14, 1960 to the late Harold Sears and Aleida (Cole) Kenny.
She loved the outdoors, especially camping, fishing and hiking. Her favorite hobbies included spending time with her grandchildren, playing card games and watching Little House on the Prairie.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth DiPietro of Swanton; grandchildren, Kyle and his wife Chyanne, Damien, Dustin, and Bryce DiPietro, Jeremiah, Tyler, and Jackson Sears and their mother Samantha Foley of West Haven; a great granddaughter, Aria DiPietro; husband, Paul Fredette of Rutland; her siblings, Chrissy Sears of Leicester, Lucy Holtrop of Springfield, Frankie Sears of Middlebury, and Greg Sears of Forest Dale; and several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, Ellen was predeceased by her son, Corey Sears; and her siblings, Dale Brown, Gladys Brailey, Harold Leslie Sears and Raymond Bob Sears.
In keeping with Ellens wishes, there will be no public services.
