Frances M. Bartlett

BERKSHIRE/RICHFORD - Frances M. (Audette) Bartlett, age 75, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at her home in Berkshire surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in St. Albans on October 31, 1944 to the late Napoleon and Tessie (Brooks) Audette.
Frances grew up in Richford and graduated from BFA-St. Albans in 1962. She was a cook for many years at the Millstone Restaurant, The Crossing, Our Lady of the Meadows, and retired from Ave Maria. Although she was famous for her homemade rolls and pies, she was most known for her selfless heart and always putting others first, even in her last moments. Frances enjoyed spending time in her garden and flower beds, watching the birds, and took immense pride in her home, but most of all, Frances loved family gatherings. She will be most remembered for her loving, strong spirit, kind eyes, and welcoming smile.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years Daniel Bartlett of Berkshire; children, Lori A. Gaboury and her husband David of St. Albans, Scott D. Barbeau and his wife Stephanie of Morgantown, KY, Tracy Barbeau of Richford, Jay Barbeau and his wife Laura of Portland, OR, and Shayne D. Barbeau of Richford; step-children, Tamara Gabel and her husband Tony of Georgia, and Thomas A. Bartlett and his significant other Robin Wells of St. Albans; 16 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jeannie Hogaboom, Rose Cadieux, Carol Davis, Diane Bigelow, and Donna Jewett; brothers, Brian Audette, Allen Audette, and Roger Pinsonneault; several nieces and nephews; and one of her many beloved four-legged companions, Bianca. Besides her parents, Frances was predeceased by her son, Loren Bug Barbeau; and step-mom, Rita Audette.
A graveside service will be held for family and close friends on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Richford Center Cemetery, South Richford Road, Richford, VT.
