Frances McAllister

ST. ALBANS - Frances McAllister, age 83, passed away on Sunday, September 7th, 2025 at the St. Albans Healthcare and Rehab.

Frances was born on February 16th, 1942 in Plattsburgh to Fred and Gladys Rockwood.

Frances found immense joy in her passions. An avid lover of arts and crafts, and crocheting, turning threads into warm and thoughtful gifts for loved ones. Frances also delighted in the beauty of nature, with flowers and birds holding a special place in her heart. Hummingbirds were her favorite, where she loved their fleeting charm and vibrant colors. Her connection to the natural world was matched only by her bond with her feline companion, Tessa. Frances was fiercely caring, loving, and loyal, to those around her

Frances is survived by her children, Brian McAllister and his wife, Marianna, and Heather Barlow and her husband, George; brother, Danny Besaw and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Leah, Erica, Jessica, Amber, Justin, Joshlynne; and several great grandchildren. Frances was predeceased by her parents, her husband Douglas McAllister, and son, Gary McAllister, and many siblings.

In respecting Frances' wishes, there will be no services for her.
