Frederick Tourangeau

Wolcott - Frederick G. Tourangeau Jr., age 81, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Copley Hospital in Morrisville, Vermont.

He was born on August 2, 1944, in Richford, Vermont, to Frederick and Marie Rosealma (Roberts) Tourangeau.

Fred was a classic jack-of-all-trades Vermonter. He spent most of his life self-employed and took great pride in his strong work ethic. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed many passions, including motorcycle and ATV riding, all kinds of art, and fixing just about anything that needed repair.

He is survived by his four children: Jimmy Tourangeau and partner Deneen, Kenny Tourangeau and partner Erin, Dana Tourangeau and wife Cadi, and Kimberly Percy and husband Leonard. He is also survived by his sisters, Caroline Mason and Dianne Michaud, his brother, Phillip Tourangeau, 16 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

Fred was predeceased by his parents; his siblings Audrey Couture, Robert Tourangeau, Virginia Jenkins, Constance Stadmueller, Edmond Tourangeau, Eva Durkee, Lita Merritt, and Marcel Tourangeau; and his two sons, Frederick Tourangeau III and Marcel Tourangeau Sr.

Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at All Saints Cemetery in Richford, Vermont.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels of Lamoille County.
