After graduation Gary joined the National Guard to serve his country before embarking on a career in the HVAC contracting profession. Along with his long-time friend, Gary Greenwood and others, they traipsed the mountains near and far enjoying the sounds of their hounds. Gary has been given the title of Founding Father of Bear Hunting by locals. Gary enjoyed bringing local kids on these hunts and keeping them awake into the wee hours.
