Hilda Sweet Robtoy

SWANTON - Hilda Sweet Robtoy, age 92, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026 at St. Albans Health & Rehab.

She was born in Belvidere on February 10, 1933 to the late Walter & Daisy (Button) Sweet.

Hilda was a devoted mother and cherished friend. She found joy in many pursuits, from gardening and crafting to baking delicious treats that brought smiles to all who tasted them. Hilda was a life-long member of Memorial United Methodist Church in Swanton. She looked forward to attending church every weekend - a reflection of her faith and commitment to her community.

She is survived by her children, Eunice "Annie" Konon, Adrian Robtoy, and Bernadette Paola; and several grandchildren, siblings, nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, Hilda was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Robtoy; her children, Penny Robtoy, Christopher Robtoy, and Bernard E. Robtoy; and her siblings.

Friends & family are invited to Hilda's life celebration on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 to include a funeral service at 11:00 AM at the Goss Life Celebration Home, 89 Grand Avenue, Swanton, VT. Interment will be held this spring in Riverside Cemetery in Swanton.
