SWANTON – Jafari Akmammy Massaquoi, entered this world on December 18, 2021 at Northwestern Medical Center. We wished for a baby, but we were blessed with an angel instead. Our beloved Jafari was called to heaven much sooner than we wished, on December 18, 2021.
He was born in St. Albans to Alfred Massaquoi and Miranda Dupre-Martin.
Jafari is survived by his parents, Alfred and Miranda; siblings, Nehemiah Byrd, Ryder Martin and Jamari Massaquoi; maternal grandparents, Ann and Michael Martin; paternal grandparents, Alice Wade and Davis Komeyan; aunts and uncles, Marci Bilodeau and her husband Gary, Cassie Martin, Melinda Martin, Alex Komeyan and Frances Massaquoi; great grandmother, Linda Dupre; and several cousins.
Jafari’s family will be holding a private Life Celebration at their convenience.
