ENOSBURG FALLS / FRANKLIN - Jeannette T. Towle, age 81, passed away Wednesday evening March 14, 2007 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.
\tShe was born March 28, 1925 in Franklin the daughter of the late Isaac & Annie (McGowan) Trudell.
\tJeannette was a resident of Enosburg Falls most of her life and for the past 2 years made her home at the Carriage House in Franklin where she enjoyed the friendship and company of her neighbors. She especially enjoyed the daily visits from Franklin the therapy dog. She was a 1945 graduate of Enosburg Falls High School and worked at the former Enosburg National Bank retiring due to poor health. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
\tJeannette was a good and loving wife and enjoyed her many years of banking, golfing at Enosburg Falls Country Club where she was a long time member and Womens Club Champion in 1985, working in her flower garden and feeding the birds.
\tShe is survived by her husband, Harry Towle of Franklin; they were married October 29, 1951; her sister, Sr. Rose Ann Trudell of Huntington, IN; her sisters-in-law, Madeline Messier of Apopka, FL, and Iris Plouff of St. Albans; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by 2 brothers, Armand & Richard Trudell, and a sister Grace Jones.
\tFuneral services will be held Wednesday morning March 21, 2007 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Enosburg Falls with Rev. Benedict Kiely celebrating the Mass of Christian burial. Interment will be held later this spring in the South Franklin Cemetery.
\tA time of visitation will be held Wednesday morning from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls
\tFollowing the Mass, Jeanettes family and friends are invited for a luncheon being held at the Franklin Homestead FELCO Room in Franklin.
