RICHFORD - Jeffrey Lee Bergeron, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on Friday January 9th, 2026 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans, just 9 days after being diagnosed with cancer.
He was born on June 5, 1962 in St. Albans, Vermont to the late Jean Guy Bergeron and Myrtle (Towle) Bergeron.
Jeff was a graduate of Richford High School class of 1980, making life long friends along the way. Jeff was a laborer for many different companies over the years, including F.W. Whitcomb, Blue Seal Feeds and Kaytec. Jeff slowed down after a heart attack at the age of 40, but he kept active in other ways, taking care of his properties and helping others.
Jeff leaves behind his siblings, Susie Stephens, Bette Paquette both of Richford; his aunt, Linda VanGieson and her husband Merle of Swanton; nephews, Jeremy Paquette and his wife Sherry, Nathan Paquette and wife Kristen, Patrick Stephens and his wife Christina, Dylan Stephens and his wife Courtney, and Jordan Greenwood; his stepson's Kasey, Kregg, Patrick, and Michael, and several cousins, nephews, and nieces. Special friend, Chuck McAllister. In addition to his parents, Jeff was predeceased by his wife, Debbie and her parents, Donald and Jill, sister, Dawn; brother-in-law, Larry Stephens; great nephew, Jeremy Paquette Jr.; and several aunts and uncles.

At Jeff's request there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held in the Spring at All Saints Cemetery in Richford.
