Jeffrey Dezotelle

RICHFORD - Jeffrey Dezotelle, age 57, passed away on Monday, March 25th, 2024, at his home in Richford with his family by his side.

He was born on August 2nd, 1966, in St. Albans to Bruce & Mary (Willette) Dezotelle.

Jeff was an avid outdoorsman and cherished moments spent fishing, 4 wheeling, and riding motorcycles with his family. His love for history and discovery led him to indulge in metal detecting all over Franklin County. As a skilled handyman and mechanic, Jeff was known as Mr. Fix-It among his friends, family, and co-workers. He enjoyed spending time with his grandson Ezra (my boy). Jeff loved dogs, especially faithful companion Fiona.

He always made time to help people in need. He served our country for many years in the US Army. He also belonged to the Masons, and Shriner's.

Jeff is survived by his wife Wendy Dezotelle; their children, Amanda Miner and her husband Jay of Franklin, and Amber Simcoe and her husband Tony of Highgate; grandson, Ezra Miner; his mother, Mary Dezotelle of Bakersfield; siblings, Patrick Dezotelle of Bakersfield, Deborah Kane and her husband Daniel of Sheldon, and Matthew Dezotelle and his wife Linda of Pennsylvania; siblings-in-law, Gary St. Pierre and his wife Sue of Sheldon, Gene St. Pierre and his wife Marie of Florida, and Vickie St. Pierre of Highgate; best friends; Rick Mason and his wife Ann of Richford, Jimmy Clausen and his wife Melissa of Richford; and Brain Church of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews. Jeff was predeceased by his father, Bruce Dezotelle; and his sister-in-law, Linda St. Pierre.

Friends & family are invited to Jeff's life celebration on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024, at the Goss-Spears Life Celebration Home, 96 Dickenson Ave, Enosburg Falls, VT to include visitation from 5-7:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM. Interment with military honors will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday May 11th, 2024 at the Richford Center Cemetery.
