Joyce Bruner

ENOSBURG FALLS - Joyce Mae (Flanders) Bruner passed away in her sleep just short of 100 years old in Enosburg Falls, Vermont on April 11, 2026.

Born in Rutland, Vermont in 1927 she was the daughter of Ruth and Earl Flanders. She was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Spears and her brother, Earl Flanders Jr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harvey in 2011.

Joyce was a graduate of Burlington High School in 1945, worked at Sears Roebuck and was a Girl Scout leader in South Burlington. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, and traveling throughout the United States and Europe.

She leaves two sons, Dennis and Timothy, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and one nephew. She was preceded in death by two children, Rodney and Kelly.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Resurrection Park, 200 Hinesburg Road, South Burlington, VT.
