Joyce E Godin

ENOSBURG – Joyce E. Godin, age 66, passed away on Friday June 3, 2022, at her Riverbend residence.

She was born in Hartford Connecticut on July 1, 1955, to the late Evelyn (Dashno) and Theodore Corey.

She was a passionate nurse’s assistant, and she spent many summers running the snack bar at Lake Carmi in Franklin.

Joyce will be remembered as being a devoted wife, partner, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a humble caring friend to many. She enjoyed taking nature walks with her grandson, along with many hobbies, fishing, playing cards, board games, bird watching, crochet, listening to country music and Patrick Swayze films.

She is survived by her son, Scott Godin and his wife Annie and their son Donovan, Joyce’s only grandson; her significant other of 22 years Francis Chartier; brother, Randall Corey; sister- in-law, Pat Armannsson and her husband Johann; brother- in-law George Godin and his wife Johanna; nieces, Melissa Delisle and Joanne Bouchard; special friends, Nick Notaro, Janet Coulombe; and her special dog, Sparky. Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Donald Godin.

Family and friends are invited to Joyce’s Life Celebration to include a memorial service on Monday June 13, 2022, at 2:00pm, at The Goss-Spears Life Celebration Home, 96 Dickinson Avenue, Enosburg Falls, VT 05450.
