Judy L. Durenleau

April 23, 1966 — March 10, 2022

HIGHGATE – Judy Lynn Durenleau (Duprey) was born on April 23rd, 1966, in St. Albans, Vermont. She passed away unexpectedly at her home on March 10th, 2022, at the age of 55.

Judy married Ron on October 12th, 1985. Judy’s wishes came true in 1998 when she welcomed a daughter into the world. She was a full-time wife and mother; she wouldn't want it any other way. Judy was known for her big heart and caring personality. She adored caring for animals, especially cats and dogs. Judy had many hobbies besides caring for animals such as fishing with her husband and daughter, thrifting/yard saleing, horseback riding and doing crafts. One thing everyone knows about her is her love for decorating for the holidays. Judy adored going all out for every holiday and making sure she makes the most of it for her family. She always knew how to make her home feel extra special during the holidays. She had a special way of connecting with the people around her. Her honest personality and warm heart made it easy for anybody to get along with her. Judy would put others before herself whenever and however possible. An inspiration for her courage and selflessness. A home where you could always feel safe. She always had a way to cheer anybody up with her laughter and hugs. The warm hugs that are sure to be missed by many. Her love has filled the hearts of many and will forever be an inspiration to keep moving forward with nothing but love. Her love will be eternal. As her daughter, I couldn’t thank her enough for making me the person I am today.

Judy is survived by her husband Ron Durenleau and her daughter Shaylyn Durenleau. Her mother Barbara Duprey, sister Tina Duprey and brother David Duprey Jr. As well as several sister in-laws, brother in-laws and other in-laws. She also had many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father David Duprey Sr.
