Lorraine Rollo

SWANTON - Lorraine Rollo, age 87, passed away on Monday, June 9th, 2025 at St. Albans Health and Rehab with her loving family by her side.

She was born on December 17, 1937 in Newport, New Hampshire to Edwin and Alvina Chartier.

Lorraine lived a life characterized by love, strength, and determination. Lorraine worked for many years at Eveready, where her dedication and work ethic were evident to all who knew her. However, beyond her professional life, Lorraine had many interests including the art of needlepoint, the joy of reading, and the beauty of flower gardening. Lorraine's favorite hobby included shopping, whether it was in store, online or from the catalogue. Her love for life was further reflected in the cherished vacations she took with her friends, with Maine being a special favorite for its serene landscapes and memories made by the water.

She is survived by her husband Ira of 67 years; children, Rhonda Rollo, Tamie Berger-Rollo, Jeffrey Rollo and his wife Julie, and Randy Rollo; grandchildren, Adam Miller and his wife Hannah, Lindsay O'Brien, Miranda Friz, Courtenay Wells and husband Shawn, Taylor Berger and wife Sommer, James Rollo and his wife Erin, and Jordan Rollo; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Lewis. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, Edwin and Alvina, and siblings, Edwin Jr, Gene, and Rita.

Friends and Family are invited to a graveside service on Thursday, June 12th, 2025 at 2:00PM at the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, Lamkin Street Highgate Center, VT.
