SWANTON – Marilyn Livingston, age 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Our Lady of the Meadows in Richford.

Marilyn was born on July 10, 1937, to Charles Clement and Mary Loretta (Wry) Sharrow. She attended high school at St. Mary’s in St. Albans and later made her home in Swanton following her marriage to Roger Livingston in 1958.

Marilyn’s greatest joy was her family. She especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed hosting family gatherings and loved having everyone together, with full plates and plenty of laughter. She also found happiness in tending her flower gardens and working alongside Roger on the many projects that made their house a home.

She is survived by her children, Sean Livingston and his wife, Erica, of Milton; Terence Livingston and his wife, Maureen, of Miamisburg, Ohio; and Paula Tarte and her husband, Jeffrey, of Colchester; her grandchildren, Anthony and his significant other, Shannon, Yvonne, Hannah and her husband, John, Catherine and her significant other, Mark, Clara, and Anna; great grandchildren, Lily and Nora; her sisters-in-laws, Nellie Sharrow, Sylvia Taylor, and Bonnie Livingston; as well as several nieces and nephews.
