Mark LaFlam

St. Albans - Mark Edward LaFlam, passed away on Thursday, May 29th, 2025 at his home.

Mark was born on February 2nd, 1960 to Earl and Anita (Bishop) LaFlam.

Mark's journey began as a passionate farmer, a role that shaped his love for the land and the simple joys of life. He later transitioned into a career as a HAZMAT truck driver, where his commitment to safety and service became evident, even though he liked to live life on the edge. Mark embodied strength and determination, traits that everyone knew him by. Mark's heart was characterized by his loving nature, and those who knew him appreciated his stubborn determination. He was a social soul who thrived on connection, often seen surrounded by friends, sharing laughter and crafting memories. His storytelling ability could light up a room.

In his younger years, Mark enjoyed fitness and spent countless hours working out. In his garage, he found joy, tinkering with tools and sharing tales of adventures that drew the hearts of his family and friends. He had a passion for firearms, always eager to share his knowledge and love for them with anyone who showed interest.

Mark is survived by his children, Jessi Wolfe, Ashley LaFlam and wife Elizabeth Boudreau, Katie Richard and her husband Jeremiah, Corey LaFlam and his wife Tanisha; girlfriend, Sherry Brier, and her children,Crystal Messier and David J. Brier; grandchildren, Elaina Genson, Logan Genson, Kadence Richard, JJ Richard, and Lydia LaFlam; mother of his children, Karen LaFlam; siblings, Linda Callan and husband Terry, Randall LaFlam and his wife Doreen, Karen Daniel, Lisa Tilton and her husband Jay, Reginald LaFlam and his girlfriend Tammy; and many nieces and nephews. Mark was predeceased by his parents, Earl and Anita LaFlam, brother-in-law, Paul Daniel; sister-in-law, Judy LaFlam; and nephew, Brian Daniel.

Friends and family will be invited to Mark's life celebration to include a visitation on Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 4-7:30PM, with a funeral service following at 7:30PM at the Goss Life Celebration Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton, VT 05488.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to Goss Funeral Home for burial expenses, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton, VT 05488.
