Marshall G. Payette

ALBURGH – Marshall G. Payette, age 75, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at the UVM Medical Center in Burlington. He was born in Barre on June 11, 1946 to the late George & Ida (Hayford) Payette. Marshall was a self-proclaimed jack of all trades and master of none. Throughout his life he worked several jobs; the granite sheds in Barre, as a security guard, and as a janitor for Vermont Technical College. He loved listening to country music and old-time rock & roll, dancing, fishing, and lately he liked to complete adult coloring books. He is survived by his wife, Paula Payette of Alburgh; three children, Bobbi-Jo Schubert and her husband Wayne, Tabitha Laposser, and Joseph Payette; a step-daughter, Laura Leno and her husband Christopher; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; his sister, Louise Beaudin; and many nieces & nephews. Marshall was predeceased by his parents, and nine siblings. Marshall’s family will be having a life celebration next summer.
