ALBURGH - Michael R. Chaffee, age 63, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019, at his home in Alburgh after a long battle with cancer.
He was born on June 17, 1955 in Connecticut to the late Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Chaffee.
Michael was a hard-working equipment operator and worked for Dave Couture Trucking for 12 years. He loved riding his Harley Davidson and was an avid deer hunter. His two pit bulls, Harley and Davidson were a huge part of his life, although his late daughter, Kristina and granddaughter, Anastazia were his whole life.
He is survived by his granddaughter, Anastazia Paquette of Alburgh; brother-in-law, Dave Couture of Alburgh; Kristinas mother, Julie Robertson of Florida; like a son, Michael Mikey Martin of North Hero; nephew, Darcy Couture; niece, Heather Manor; the Jewett family of Enosburg, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides his parents, Michael was predeceased by his daughter, Kristina Chaffee in 2017, his sister, Beverly Couture in 2013, and many special Alburgh friends.
In keeping with Michaels wishes there will be no services at this time.
