ALBURGH- Neil Stephen Bannister, 52, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 2, 2020.
Neil was born in Rutland, Vermont on November 3, 1967, son of Elizabeth (Van Guilder) and the late Donald Bannister Sr.
Neil attended grade school in Fairfax, Waterville, Highgate, and Missisquoi Valley Union High school in Swanton. He was a sub-contractor for All Seasons Siding. He loved working outdoors, going fishing, rock-n-roll and partying with friends.
Neil is survived by his mother, Elizabeth, sister Helen Columb and husband Tim, brother Donald and wife Gail, brother Stanley, sister Tracy Bourgeois and husband Dale and brother Kenny. Nieces and nephews, Jason and Christopher Tilton, Thomasina Bannister, Jessica Sheldon, Ciara Bannister, Cody Bannister, Derrick Bourgeois and Kalob Gabree. He also leaves behind his close friends Scoot and Jane, Rodney, Curtis and Kevin. He was predeceased by his brother Tommy and father Donald.
No services are planned at this time. A burial will be planned at a later date in Castleton at the convenience of Neils family.
