SHELDON - Pamela Kane Mayo, age 43, mother of Amanda & Randy Mayo, passed away Tuesday June 10, 2008 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans with her loving family at her side following a brief illness.

She was born August 8, 1964 in St. Albans the daughter of Norman & Margaret Peggy (Larose) Kane.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially loved to be with her children, Amanda & Randy, attending the school activities, taking them skiing, sliding and cooking for them especially chicken wings with her own special sauce.

Pam was currently working for the past 4 years as a senior lab technician at Mylan Technologies in St. Albans. She had also been employed at Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans. She was an outgoing person who loved to have fun. She enjoyed having family and friends around and was always willing to help others. She was an avid reader.

She looked forward to visits from her nieces and nephews who always needed a quick snack, a movie to borrow or help with the computer to download music. She also had a special friendship with her cousin Valerie Kane which Pams family truly appreciates and is thankful for.

She is survived by her children, Amanda & Randy Mayo of Sheldon; her parents, Norman & Peggy Kane of Sheldon; her brothers and their families, Timothy N. Kane his wife Sandra and their children, Benjamin & Kelly of Berkshire, Gregory Kane his wife Carol their children Jeremy & Amy of Sheldon, and Jonathan Kane his wife Robin their children Thomas Lemire & Tia Kane of Essex Jct.; aunts & uncles, Emile LaRose of Ganesvoort, NY, Lucille Langevin of St. Pie, Que. Canada, Roger & Dorcas Larose of Berkshire, Muriel Larose of Westport, NY, Robert & Theresa Gale of Sheldon Springs, and Claire Kane of Sheldon; and many cousins

Funeral services will be held Friday morning June 13, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Sheldon Springs with Rev. Bernard Bechard Celebrating the Mass of Christian burial. Interment will follow in St. Anthonys cemetery in Sheldon Springs.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4-7 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls.
