Patricia Burritt

Swanton VT, Patricia Burritt, passed away on June 18 , 2026 at her home .

She was born April 27, 1945 in St Albans a daughter of the late Raymond and Eleanor Shappy Goodroe.

Patricia was employed at Union Carbide as a line worker for many years and later in life until she retired, she worked for the government as a contractor for U.S.C.I.S. She was an avid Bingo Player, and had many talents including drawing, knitting, sewing, and she was a lover of all animals, especially cats, dogs, and horses.

She is survived by her daughter Wendy Cameron of Swanton, and her siblings, Dale and her husband Mark Prairie, Karen Gagnon Billy Peno and David Lapan; grandchildren, Jesse Partlow, Heather Partlow, Tosha Wagner, Chad Cameron, Danielle Bouchard, and Tommy Comstock and several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Theodore Burritt and her children Sherry Cameron and Chad Cameron, her siblings Linda Prue and Eric Goodroe and her nephew Glen. Patricia also leaves longtime childhood friend, Paula Corey who was there for my mother until the end. Her eyes lit up when seeing her or hearing her name. A special granddaughter, Tosha Wagner who took care of her and helped for years while she lived in Champlain, NY.
