Pauline Germain

May 14, 1944 — September 9, 2023

CAMBRIDGE- Pauline L. Germain, age 79, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023 surrounded by loved ones at her home.

She was born in Richford on May 14, 1944 to the late Gordon "Bud" Sr. and Lottie (LaPlant) Tatro.

Pauline grew up in Richford and graduated from Richford High School in 1962. She raised three children that quickly became the center of her life while working various careers in manufacturing in the area. She retired from York Capacitor after almost 15 years as a supervisor, a job she was very proud of.

Pauline possessed a spirit that touched the lives of those around her. She found joy in simple pleasures like exploring lawn sales, sipping on iced coffee, and collecting purses and jewelry. Her admiration for tattoos was a reflection of her free-spirited nature and vibrant personality, which she wore proudly throughout her life. Her love for icons like Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe showcased her appreciation for timeless artistry and nostalgia.

But above all, Pauline's true passion lay in serving others. She lived a life dedicated to putting the needs of others before her own, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. Her unconditional love and acceptance created a safe space for everyone she encountered, never judging others but instead embracing them with open arms.

Pauline's compassion extended beyond the personal sphere, as she was a devoted blood donor. Her commitment to giving the gift of life was a testament to her desire to make a positive impact in the world.
