Raymond Gabree

SWANTON - Raymond R. Gabree Jr., age 67, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at his home in Swanton.

He was born June 3, 1957 in Burlington to the late Raymond Sr. & Nila (Cook) Gabree.

As a hardworking machinist, Raymond dedicated over 20 years to Vermont Precision Tools and another 11 at WestRock, all to ensure a comfortable life for his beloved family. Known for his dedication to his family, Raymond always put them first. From long hours at work to spontaneous adventures which occasionally led to new pets or cars, Raymond's love for his family knew no bounds.

Raymond found joy in shooting pool and watching his best friend Ricky's band, making memories that will forever be cherished by those who knew him. Always up for an adventure, Raymond had a knack for bringing a touch of unpredictability to every day.

He is survived by his wife, Kim Gabree of Swanton; their children, Trish Dragon and her husband Adam, Bradley Gabree and his wife Desarae, Emily Gabree and her significant other Jed Bertrand, and Keaton Gabree; seven grandchildren, Rylee, Evan, Logan, Bennett, Kash, Jonah, and Maeve; two great-grandchildren, Ryatt, and Easton; siblings, Randy Gabree, Tonya Gabree, Tina Gabree and her significant other David Gagne, and Heather LaPlant and her husband Georgie; brother-in-law, Richard Gagne; his best friend, Ricky Gabree and his wife Traci; and several nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, Raymond was predeceased by his sister, Pam Gagne.

In keeping with Raymond wishes, there will be no public services for him.
