WATERVILLE - Raymond D. Longley, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 14, 2025 at his home in Waterville.
He was born on June 14, 1962 in St. Albans to Richard Longley and the late Patricia (Baker) Longley.
Known for his knack for mechanics, Raymond dedicated most of his working years to being a heavy equipment and auto mechanic. He had a particular passion for two wheels and never missed a trip to Laconia for Bike Week, where his love for the open road and camaraderie with fellow riders shone brightly. He loved gathering collectibles and was very proud of his model tractor collection.
He is survived by his children, April Bergeron and her husband Chris, and Kayla Ryea and her significant other Archie Domina; grandchildren, Victoria, Hunter, Trinity, Brantley, and Ezra; father, Richard Longley; siblings, Lori Paradee and her husband Jay, Leisa Leclair and her husband Fred, Leandra Longley and her partner Danny Fitzgerald, Louise Jacobs and her husband Roger Jr., Rick Longley and his wife Karie, and Roy Longley and his wife Jane; sister-in-law, Carrie Deuso; and many nieces & nephews. Raymond's mother passed away the day after he died. He was also predeceased by his daughter, Tina Ryea; his brother, Rene E. Longley; and nephews, Rene L. Longley and Cody Paradee.
Friends & family are invited to a combined life celebration for Raymond and his mother Patricia on Monday, November 24, 2025 to include visitation from 2-4:00 PM at the Goss-Spears Life Celebration Home, 96 Dickinson Avenue, Enosburg Falls, VT.
