Raymond Domina Paré

SWANTON - Raymond Paré, age 95, passed away on Friday, July 3rd, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on March 29, 1931 in St. Albans to Alcide and Blanche Paré.

He attended Holy Angels School and BFA in St. Albans. He joined the Navy at the young age of 17 and served four years during the Korean Conflict. Ray worked for IBM for 25 years and then part time at Ray's Dies and Tubing for another 25 years. He was a proud member of the American Legion, Post No.1 in St. Albans and also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2207.

He is survived by his wife Pauline; brother, Andre (Joe) and Carol Paré; children, Karen Bouthillette, Kathryn Cain(Paul), Kevin Paré (Tammy), JoAnne Foell, John Paré (Kristie); grandchildren, Amy (Bryan Hager), Kristi (Bill Mount), Ross Bouthillette, Desiree Vatter, Nicholas Cain (Kari), Maureen Cain, Erin Cain, Joseph Paré, Matthew Paré (Vicki), Charles Foell (Rocio), Ashleigh Franco (Fabio), Luke Paré, Levi Paré, Ira Paré, Jackson Mount, Jordan Mount, Katherine Hager, Lance Hager; great grandchildren, James, Reuben, Adelyn, Rowen, Abbott, Eva, Grace, Tahlia, Julian, Theodore, Benjamin, Evanthia, Carlos, Sofia, Breno, Isabella. Ray was predeceased by his parents, Alcide and Blanche Paré; sisters, Cecile Ferland and Jane Magnant; brothers, Fernand, Romeo, Ernest, Henry, Hubert, James, and son-in-law, Michel Bouthillette.

Friends and family will be invited to Ray's life celebration to include visitation on Saturday, July 11th, from 9:30-10:30 at the Goss Life Celebration Home, 89 Grand Ave, Swanton, VT 05488. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00AM at the Church of Nativity, 65 Canada Street, Swanton, VT 05488.
