Richard "Dicky" Degraff Jr.

RICHFORD– Richard “Dicky” Degraff Jr., age 54, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, October 25, 2021 at his home in Richford.  

He was born in Burlington on July 9, 1967 to Richard Degraff Sr. and the late Sandra Ritchie.

Dicky grew up in Chittenden County and attended Milton High School. He lived life to the fullest and pushed every boundary to its limit along the way. Dicky had a uniquely positive outlook on life and had the ability to make those around him happy, making him incredibly lovable. He was never afraid of hard work and put in many good years at local factories and construction companies in the area. Dicky was also known for his “Redneck Ingenuity” and took pride in tinkering and his woodworking skills. He loved to go hunting, fishing, camping, and cherished time spent with his friends and family.

He is survived by his daughter, Lauren Degraff of Georgia; step-daughters, Joyce and Heather Shepard of Georgia; grandchildren, Mikah, Michael Shane, Kasey, and Zion; father, Richard Degraff Sr., and his wife Donna of Jeffersonville; sisters, Michelle “Stella” Wescott and her significant other Eric King of St. Albans, and Dixie Degraff and her fiancé Gary Estus of Milton; nieces and nephews, Chelsea Wescott and her significant other Brian Corwell, Wayne Wescott, Megan Wescott, and Tiffany Degraff; great nieces, and nephews, Damien, Wayne III, Chase, Sophiaa, Quentin, Pryiah, and Chance; and several friends who will miss him dearly. Dicky was predeceased by his mother, Sandra Ritchie.

Family and friends and invited to Dicky’s Life Celebration events on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 to include visitation from 2:00-3:00PM with a memorial service following at 3:00 PM at the Goss-Spears Life Celebration Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls, VT 05450.
