ENOSBURG- Richard E. Rowe, age 79, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019 at his home in Enosburg.

He was born in Granby on October 12, 1939 the son of the late Benjamin and Lieone Rowe.

Richard was raised in Granby and work a variety of jobs including farming and truck driving. He married the love of his life, Gloria (Morits) Rowe and they spent 54 wonderful years together. Richard enjoyed racing cars, hunting, fishing, watching wrestling and NASCAR, camping, going for long rides through the islands, going through the McDonalds drive through on scooters with Herbie, having company over, and was proud of his Abenaki heritage. He was a vegetarian but could not go without his daily coffee and donuts. Richard had a great sense of humor and will be remembered dearly for being a jokester and pulling off many good pranks.

He is survived by his daughter, Pam Aldridge; grandchildren, Anthony, Braeden, and Matt Aldridge; great grandchildren, Devin, and Carson Aldridge; and his second family: daughter, Lisa Unwin; sons, Herbie, and Kevin Bellevue; grandchildren, Christine Unwin Hull, Casey Unwin Tusi and Crystal Unwin; great grandchildren, Maureen Mortis, Maliki Unwin Jackson, Gabe Unwin, Shanneal Unwin, JD Penn, Bowkeen Unwin Hull, Grace Bellevue, Adam Bellevue, Damien Unwin, and Jelissa Combs; several other great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and his best friend Jim. Besides his parents, Richard was predeceased by his wife Gloria; and all of his siblings.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls.
