Robert Dudley Sr.

BAKERSFIELD - Robert Dudley, Sr., age 86, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at the Trident Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina.

He was born January 13, 1940 in Sheldon to the late Percy & Ethal (Archambault) Dudley.

Bob married Joyce (Hayes) on July 16th, 1960. He worked for many years as a machinist and assembler up until his retirement. In retirement he worked part-time at Hannaford in Enosburg Falls. Bob and Joyce loved spending time watching their shows, specifically soap operas, The Voice, and Survivor.

He is survived by his children, Lorinda Dudley, Timothy Dudley Sr., Steven Dudley, and Jeff Dudley and his wife Kim; daughter-in-law, Sue Dudley; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; his sister, Joyce Mitchell and her husband Howard; sister-in-law, Lillian Dudley; and several nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by his wife, Joyce Dudley; their son, Robert Dudley Jr.; their grandson, Billy Allen Dudley; and his siblings, Earl Dudley, Marion Rivers, Florence Kinsley, and Hugh Dudley.

Friends & family are invited to Bob's life celebration on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 to include visitation from 10-11:00 AM followed with a funeral service at 11:00 AM at the Goss-Spears Life Celebration Home, 96 Dickinson Avenue, Enosburg Falls, VT. Interment will follow in St. George Cemetery in Bakersfield.
