ENOSBURG FALLS - Ronald E. Christian, age 67, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2019 at his home in Enosburg Falls.
He was born in Daytona Beach, FL on August 22, 1952, the son of the late Edward and Winifred (Hilton) Christian.
Ronald grew up in Florida and graduated from Baker County High School where he was an avid softball player. After high school he earned a degree from Central Community College for Art. He spent the majority of his working years as a detailer for several automotive companies. Later in life, Ronald relocated to Vermont where he met and married Joyce Corey in 2004. Ronald enjoyed cooking, making art, and listening to music, especially southern rock. Ronald had a fiery personality, a warm heart, loved animals and will be remembered for instilling his old school values when it came to respect and helping others.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Christian of Enosburg; children, Justin, Shelby, RJ, and Adam; step-children, Linda Sochia and her husband James, Laura Field and her husband Rick, Lisa Larose and her husband Scott Jewett, and Amanda Larose, younger sister, Mary Ann Crew and her husband; and numerous grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces. Besides his parents, Ronald was predeceased by his cherished grandmother Ma-Ma who helped raise him, Marie Welch.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family in Florida.
