MONTGOMERY- Sally H. Newton, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at her home in Montgomery.

She was born in Newport on July 19, 1930 to the late David and Marjorie (Elkins) Haire.

Sally was an active member of the Montgomery Methodist Church and Historical Society. She has a passion for literature and history, enjoyed watching old time movies, bowling, traveling across the globe, and was always up for a game of bridge! She was not afraid to tell people what was on her mind, and believed in pushing people to their potential with a touch of tough love.
